Caroline Garrett is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor in Vinyasa (flow yoga) 230 hours, through Stephanie Keach at the Asheville Yoga Center, Asheville, NC. Ms. Garrett combines instruction in the yogic practices of pranayama and asanas with the meditative art of creating mandalas. Caroline's workshops and retreats facilitate healing, pain relief, and self-discovery. She uses the mandala techniques of Judith Cornell, Ph.D. combined with hatha yoga to bring out a manifestation of beauty and wholeness in the participant. Caroline Garrett teaches yoga at the Anahata Yoga Center in Williamsburg, VA.

Mandala-Lotus Workshops
Mandala-Lotus workshops and retreats are adventures into beauty, bliss, and transformation.
Ms. Garrett gives Mandala-Lotus workshops to health professionals, cancer patients, those seeking relief from pain and stress, artists who want to expand their creativity, and yogis. Mandala-Lotus workshops use mandalas, mantras, and yogic breath to focus the mind, develop compassion, and bring creative solutions to light. A meaningful experience of prosperity, peace, gratitude, and grace are benefits of Mandala-Lotus workshops.
- Requirements: The Beginner's Mind: No previous experience as an artist or yoga student are necessary. Those with experience in yoga and/or art, expect a combination of techniques which may bring a new dimension of insight and creative expression to your art and skills.
- The Practice: Breath work, movement, meditation, chanting, and mandalas, as described in Dr. Cornell's books, Mandala: Luminous Symbols for Healing and Mandala Healing kit.

- Journalling, and interpreting symbolic messages from your mandala practice

Structure:
One and a half hours is recommended for either an introduction to the process or for an individual session.
Workshops will vary in length depending on the needs of the individual or community involved. Please discuss your needs with Caroline.
Groups, a quiet room with tables and chairs, carpeted floor is desirable but not essential. Participants should wear loose fitting clothing and bring a blanket and a yoga mat if they own one.
Fees:
- Individual sessions (allow one-and-a-half hours) - $100
- Add $25 for each additional 30 minutes
- Fees for groups of two to four participants:
- Base cost: first one and a half hours - $180
- Two hour session - $210
- Workshop fee with 5 to 12 participants:
- Half-day (9:30AM - 12:30PM) - $500
- Whole day (9:30AM - 12:30PM and 1:30PM - 5:00 PM) - $900
